Licence

You must present your driving licence and any other required documentation before rental is effective. Failure to do so will be considered a cancellation without notice and you will be charged 30% of the total hire and all the transport charge for delivering the Bike.

Motorcycle Rental Insurance and Driving Entitlement

Minimum age: > 34 BHP 21 years Old, <34 BHP with a motorcycle licence, 18 and older for 125 cc and 14 year old for 50 cc.

Insurance: full insurance for unlimited third party liability, passenger, fire, theft and damage to the motorcycle in excess of the deposit.

(We are researching a more comprehensive insurance at the moment)

Motorcycle Rental - Contract Inclusions/Exclusions

Gas/Petrol: your own expense.

Coolant / Engine Oil: included in our price. Please note: For rentals over 800 KM - you are responsible for topping up the engine and paying for the Coolant and Oil. There is a 50 Euro Penalty for bringing in Motorcycles with the Oil or coolant under the minimum.

Tires - normal wear and tear included. Clear cases of tire abuse (evidence of burns etc) not included. Punctures repaired at Hirer's expense.

Two-stroke Oil - Not included

Helmets included

Note: Due to circumstances beyond our control we may have to substitute motorcycles at no warning!

Extra Charges

Extra mileage (per km) < 1000cc = 0.25 EUR / 1000cc = 0.27 EUR / > 1000cc = 0.33 EUR

Waiting time at airports - after designated rendezvous time - 45 minutes free of charges - thereafter 15 euros per half-hour or part thereof.

We maintain the bike - with the exception of punctures or excessive tire wear, in which case we expect you repair or replace the tire. A note about excessive tire wear - normally this is never a problem - but of course - we did have one idiot who took out a 600cc Hornet and did stunts and burns - he came back with the tire almost down to the wire. We charged him. Otherwise we have never charged for tire wear - and that's the way we like it! Normal wear and tear is encouraged - right to the edges if possible! :-)

Luggage: Top Box free. Side Cases 25-35 euros per hire. May be waived for promotions.

Motorcycle Hire Payment and Deposits

Deposit: by credit card authorization. It is deductible from the full insurance.

Methods of payment: Cash, Visa card, Master Card, Bank Transfer, Direct Debit. Or Pay Pal (1.5% surcharge)

Payment Schedule:

• The motorcycle is booked when we receive a completed reservation form. We may take a 10% deposit from you depending on how busy we are.
• One week before the hire is due - we take the 100% of the transport fees both ways and preauthorize your deposit.
• The day before we travel to your hire we take the balance, unless you are paying the balance by cash. (Or we have a fully mobile GSM card reader - which we are researching)

Reservation confirmation: we acknowledge your reservation form as soon as we receive it.

Terms of cancellation:
The total amount of your reservation is not debited before the rental unless you cancel:

• More than 14 days before departure date - full deposit refunded - 10 euro administration charge.
• between 14 and 7 days before the departure date, the cancellation fee is 10% of the hire. Any transport fees taken are refunded.
• between 7 and 3 days before the departure date, the cancellation fee equals 50% of the rental amount. Any transport fees taken are refunded.
• less than 3 days before the departure date: 75% of the rental amount. Any transport fees taken are refunded.
• Reservation not honored: 100% rental, 100% of the delivery charge, pick-up charge refunded.
